يونيو هو شهر خطوبة الأبوة، وهو وقت للاحتفال بالآباء والدور المهم الذي يلعبونه في مساعدة الأطفال على الشعور بالأمان والحب والدعم. تشجع مشاركة الأبوة على إقامة علاقات إيجابية ونشطة بين الأب والطفل، وتعزز الروابط الأقوى مع أفراد الأسرة من جهة الأب عندما تعمل الـ Department of Social Services المحلية على دعم سلامة الطفل ورفاهية الأسرة.
This year, VDSS is partnering with Fatherhood Foundation of Virginia, Depaul Community Resources and local departments of social services across Virginia to host regional events for fathers and their children. These events are free for fathers and their families.
Fathers can also join the celebration by participating in the Fatherhood Engagement Bingo game. Download the bingo card, complete activities with your child throughout the month and check off each box as you go. Once you complete a bingo, bring your completed card to an in-person regional event to enter a raffle for a chance to win $250 and other fatherhood items.
